Kele Le Roc, the renowned MOBO-winning vocalist celebrated for her UK Garage classics, returns with a bold new vision: a haunting cover of Radiohead’s “Creep,” released this Halloween via SINC Records. Blending music, film, and fashion, Kele steps into a gripping neo-noir short film directed by Chris Manoe, exploring the fragility of human identity in the era of AI.
Far from a straightforward cover, the project showcases Kele portraying three fractured versions of herself, supported by KAi Le Roc and Angel Le Roc. With cinematography by Samuel Hosier and a Ferrari 458 Spider as a visual metaphor, the film creates an atmosphere both futuristic and intimate, capturing the raw emotion at the heart of “Creep.”
Produced by an all-star team including Desmond Lambert and Ross O’Reilly, the track deepens the song’s familiar alienation, while the film’s narrative delves into a world where artists are digitally cloned. As Kele herself puts it, “‘Creep’ has always spoken to that feeling of being seen and unseen at the same time… The song’s truth still belongs to human emotion, not code.”
